A big THANK YOU to all the bidders and buyers who participated in this year’s Azalea Banner Auction! This turned out to be a record for sales, a nice surprise for our thirtieth anniversary! And it couldn’t have happened without your support and of course all the artists that donated their time and patience and talent to make this happen. A big thanks also to the parks and rec office staff for keeping all this straight and organized for three months (annually), the parks a...nd rec forestry crew who always do extra duty to hang and maintain and retrieve these banners from 100 light poles in all weather and traffic conditions, the Muskogee Art Guild who partner with us on banner distribution and PR, and Friends of Honor Heights Park. Banner pickup starts at 8 am Monday morning at the the Parks and Recreation office at 837 East Okmulgee Street. We’re open 8-5.
