P1757 Nissan DTC: Front Brake Solenoid Valve In order to change gears properly, the TCM has to be able to control a number of components including the front brake solenoid valve. If there is an issue with the Nissan FR/B Solenoid Circuit, a P1757 OBDII code will be set. After removing the valve body and partially dismantling the TCM cover we've finally located the culprit. A broken connection at the FR/B Solenoid. Ram fired up the soldering gun and now the tranny shifts good as new.
Considering the miles traveled, ol boy might've cashed in a life or two.
