Psalm 136 may seem repetitive, but it echoes how through everything, God’s love endures. If you were to read the whole psalm out loud (which we encourage you to do), it would only be the tiniest of specks of time compared to how long His love has been and how long it’s going to last (which is infinitely). One updtate about this week: we’re not going to be having youth group tomorrow. Pastor Scott is teaching a healing seminar, which we want to encourage you to go to. Last night’s message was amazing, and Scott is sure to bring it these next two evenings. Thanks!

1 Thessalonians 4:7 Sure, we mess up sometimes, and Jesus is faithful to forgive us, but we’re called to be set apart and not conformed to the world. The way we present ourselves and act around others (but also in private) should reflect God and His holiness so much so that it has an impact on the world.

Happy October! We're going to have a great month at church! Like normal, we'll have youth group every Wednesday at 7pm during service, where we'll play a game and have a message. Then, on 18th after worship we'll have our Third Sundays group where we'll continue our series on the four roles of Jesus. Finally, on the 30th at 6:30pm Encounter Church is having a big Family Game Night, which we're really excited about! We live in a world full of sin. No one on this earth will ever be able to save us from the path that our world is headed down. Jesus is the only answer. Jesus is our only hope. He took the punishment for our sin on the cross and gave us a chance to be cleansed from it. We have hope that we are saved and will one day be with Him in paradise. . We know some went to either church yesterday morning, or to the service last night, but as a reminder, there won’t be youth group this week, but we want to encourage you to attend the service at least on Wednesday like usual. If you can though, try to get to each service this week at 7!
