A whole pack of puppies!

3/8 Komondor and 5/8 Great Pyrenees We raise goats, miniature cattle, and various poultry... these dogs have been the lone source of protection, and I can proudly report that since their arrival we haven’t lost a single animal to a predator. While neighbors struggle with the coyote and hog populations popular in this area, we have had NO problems. While we started with (and still adore!) purebred Great Pyrenees, the introduction of our Komondor cross has been remarkable! He i...s never away from his herd and his instincts are some of the best we have had on the farm! We have not needed additional guardians and therefore not had puppies available for several years. Now that we have more land to cover, we decided it was time for some additions to the team. Daphne and Judge had their litter of 11 puppies on October 21st. These puppies have remained in the pasture since birth and are well acquainted with the animals they will one day protect (including the invaluable mousers that you see in the photo). These animals have truly been an invaluable part of protecting our farm and family! As we have pleased customers returning, there are only 6 puppies remaining looking for a farm of their own. While these pups will be able to leave by Christmas (perfect gift for your goat!) we are also willing to hold them until they reach 12 weeks of age to increase their exposure to their parents for additional ‘training.’ See more
