We have been made aware that phone scammers are contacting NFEC members. A recording informs the customer that they will disconnect their service immediately unless they stay on the line to pay. The phone number calling is a spoofed copy of one of NFEC's phone numbers. NFEC does not make calls and demand immediate payment. When calls are made to members with delinquent accounts, members are instructed to call NFEC’s secure pay line to make their payment. Please be aware, and when in doubt, call NFEC.
