NSU Music Alumni group - Reconnect

Dr. Anne Watson and Dr. Ben Hay can be seen (and heard) in this truly international virtual performance by the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas!

We received these donated tuxedo jackets, pants, and shirts from Prof. Emeritus, Dr. Mark Bighley. Most are brand new, high quality brands, with tags still on them! These will go a long way to help students who need concert attire for ensembles and other concerts. Many, many thanks, Dr. Bighley!

Each year, the President's Model the Way award is presented to 2 faculty and 2 staff members who exemplify service above self, tireless effort to promote the mission of the University, and a sense of community and collegiality among their fellow employees. Dr. Ben Hay, Assistant Professor of Music (trumpet, theory, jazz), was nominated and selected this year. He was recognized during the Employee Recognition Program on April 29th and received a $1,000 check from the NSU Foundation. His name and image will also be displayed on a plaque in the Administration Building. Congratulations, Dr. Hay!!! Well deserved recognition. We are proud to have you as NSU Music faculty.

Students helped move furniture and other items to create a new student lounge today. Thank you students for all your help!
