To those that have served- we thank you! From the men and women in uniform, to the families, mothers, and kids that stay at home. A military life is one of sacrifice. Many of you don't know this, but I was a military kid. My Dad was in the Air Force, so we moved around a bit. I lived in 3 places before the age of 6. I still remember the TDYs that he was deployed on. In retrospect, it must have been SO HARD for my Mom to have two kids under two and living in a foreign coun...try all by herself! Mad props Mom and to all the mommas doing this currently! So, this day is for you all. Thank you, your family, and all for everything that you do and have given up. Also, as I write this, I should mention that there IS support for families out there! I know that there's a *very* active Twitter, FB, and Insta military community. Also, if you all haven't checked out, @breastfeedingincombat boots is a great resource for those actively serving and needing help. And, of course, like your girl here. Some good information!

Guys.... I can finally EAT again! I didn't really talk about it, but this was a bit tough in the #food department. Everything made me sick except pretty much breads & sweets. I did still eat & but just not to the extent that I was accustomed. ... But man, now that babe is out-of-pocket I'm actually hungry & can eat allllll the things. One of my first things I made? #vegetable frittata. SOOOOO good.
