Oaks Fire Dept

A great day of training!! 2 evenings last week we learned about ventilation and ladders. Today we put that learning into action. We couldn't actually ventilate the roof we trained on, so our awesome training officer fixed up some pallets and sheet metal to simulate a "roof" for us to cut. Thank you Melvin Blossom for spending your time teaching us, and thank you to the firefighters that were able to spend the time to learn! Now come the pics...

OFD doing some after dark training on ladders and ventilation. A refresher for us old ones and new information and training for our new ones! Everyone did a great job!! Last day of this training session is this Saturday and we are also having a meet ad greet at the Oaks Fire Station, come on out!!
