OBRA (Oklahoma Boat Racing Association)

Obra will have a NBRA race the second weekend in June 2021. The What's Up Doc? Race team travels to Jesup, Ga. this week to do a Halloween race. Crew is John Ruff, Charley Holman, Doc Miller, and drivers Rick and Braxton Miller.

OBRA will have a fall meeting. We plan to meet in Tulsa at a restaurant and have election of officers. The time and place has not been determined. Presently , Len Miller is president and Rick Miller is sec-treasure. We are a 503c corporation.

Thunder on Wolf Creek is coming up June 12-14th. We have had so many calls of racers wanting to come to the event. We really want to get everyone on the water with all the circumstances associated with the Covid-19. We are adding some special event classes and have decided to run half the classes on Saturday and the other half on Sunday. Each class will run 3 heats (2 heats for Day 1 racing & 1 heat for Day 2 racing) with Antique classes running 2 heats. This will be a bit... of a sacrifice for all of us used to running 4 heats for the weekend, but I think it is going to be great to be with hanging out with friends all over the country. Attached is the Preliminary Agenda for the weekend and Race Schedule. We are part of a big town festival that should make a great weekend event. If you have any issues let us know.
