CONGRATULATIONS to the first cohort of OIC of Oklahoma County Business Academy grads! It was so fun celebrating and honoring you all this evening. These entrepr...eneurs just completed a 12 WEEK program (that took place on Tuesday and Friday nights!) that was designed to support Black entrepreneurs in learning the ins and outs of owning a business, how to reinvest in their communities, and how to thrive. It was a gift serving on the advisory council for this project (with the best and most effective/fun/hilarious group ever) to support our community in this way. S/O to the Queens DesJean, Shamia, LaTasha, and Aleshia for beautifully executing this program and making it the big success that it was.
