Good evening Cowboy Battalion!! Our final post for the day will be announcing this years recipient of the Drummond Saber Award: Alfred A. Drummond, a 1915 Oklahoma A&M graduate founded the Saber Award in 1916 after attending Officer Training Camp at the Presidio in 1915. He felt something was needed to help make better officers of them Oklahoma A&M graduates. This prompted him to contribute in some way toward the awakening of a keener interest in the study of military subjects and training. From this was born the Drummond Saber Award. He specified that an engraved officer’s saber be presented to a senior Army ROTC Cadet who demonstrated the highest degree of academic and military excellence. Please help us congratulate this years recipient: Uriah Robinson!!! #gopokes #pistolsfiring #okstate #armyrotc #osuarmyrotc #armystrong
