It is with great sadness that we share that Dr. Stephen Prescott passed away last evening due to complications from cancer. At the time of his passing, he was at home in the company of his wife and family. Dr. Prescott announced his retirement as OMRF president last month for health reasons. The time I’ve spent at OMRF has been the capstone to a scientific career that has been immensely rewarding, Dr. Prescott said at the time. I’ve been lucky enough to help guide this w...onderful institution for 15 years. And nothing makes me happier than knowing the scientists of OMRF will continue the tradition of biomedical research excellence long after I’ve gone. If you have a remembrance of Dr. Prescott, please post it below or at http://prescott.omrf.org so that we can share it with his family.

Now we need to go further into the weeds to understand what these changes do to DNA’s function. Read more

Over the last year, two things became commonplace at OMRF: Masks A weekly Covid-19 test... But with case numbers shrinking and more than 80% of our employees vaccinated, we're (mostly) bidding farewell to both.
