When the demand for commodities increases but the supply is limited, it leads to a price increase in commodities. Given the current supply chain issues and the added stress of the Suez Canal blockage in March 2021, major companies, including Procter & Gamble and Kimberly-Clark, are announcing price increases that will be rolled out in coming months.
