John Groendyke and his wife, Virginia, are part of the incredible group of Cornerstone Donors who have given $1 million or more to the #AgNewFrontiers campaign. Their choice to name the Ecology and Water Quality Research Lab in the New Frontiers Agricultural Hall is a nod to the 44 years Groendyke spent as the Wildlife Commissioner for District 8 in Northwest Oklahoma. Late into the night of ...May 31, 1921, the Greenwood District was burned, in what historians describe as one of the worst incidents of racial violence in U.S. history, and for decades remained one of the least-known.
