In 2 days the NPK crew covered the miles & hit trials at 4 locs; Alva, Goodwell, Fort Cobb, & Chickasha. Would have hit Altus if dry. Put out trts in #sorghum, #corn, & #cotton trials. Next couple weeks will be on fire w/ #wheat harvest & summer crop data collection. Let’s Roll!!

Work at Bixby’s Mingo Valley Research farm was setting up a new soil pH gradient trial (4-8). @OSU_oilseeds & I will spend the next couple years looking #soybean on these plot. The breeze and hydrated lime did not completely get along today.

Two days, 2 (distant, Panhandle and Mingo) research stations, 3 crops, 2 very different tractors, 1 job. Just trying to provide answers to the questions I get. #corn, #cotton, #soybean.

Seemed like it took forever to get soils temps and moisture right. But we finally have some #sorghum babies. Have three fun projects including microbial products, imapacr of mid-season N burn along with how wait can N be delayed and does that influence AMF fungi colonization.
