You are NOT alone! Hurting Moms, we need each other. No one understands the pain of having a child who is making destructive decisions, disengaging from their family, and disrespecting the values they have been taught like another Hurting Mom. WHAT IS A HURTING MOM?: A mom who is hurting because of the choices and actions of their child. The situations vary, but the pain is the same. Some of the painful emotions experienced by Hurting Moms are anxiety, fear, anger, disappointment, guilt, and shame. If this is you, we hope you will join us on this journey.. Our Hurting Moms Breaking Free support group provides: - A place and space to put words to our pain. - An opportunity for hurting moms to come alongside one another as they bear the pain. - Learn to understand the struggles that they are experiencing. - Offer insights learned from their own experiences to those who need it. - Each group challenges moms to grow in their relationship with - Jesus as they learn to trust him in the midst of their pain. - The ultimate goal is for every Hurting Mom to learn to surrender their children to God, knowing that He created them, loves them and has a plan for their lives. Some of the topics we cover in our HM Breaking Free group: - Grow in our relationship with Jesus as we learn to trust Him in the midst of our pain. - You are NOT alone! - Dealing with fear and anxiety and other toxic emotions - The phases of pain and grief - How we respond to our child - Letting go of our child - Effectively praying for our child Prior to Registering: We understand that this is a big commitment and one that should not be made without seeking the Lord. Remember, your first commitment is to Jesus! (It is important to understand what you are committing too) This is a 14 Week support group/bible study (It is important that you commit to attending all 14 weeks). We meet every Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (PST) Online (Zoom) Participation: Download Zoom (https://zoom.us/) Device (ipad, computer, etc.) with a microphone & camera (Highly suggest using computer/laptop and not your cell phone) How To Register: (Please register no later than February 11th) Reserve your spot by replying to this email: Subject Line: Register HM group. Have you ever stood at the edge of a field and just allowed your eyes to take in every detail, your ears to take in every sound? Have you just let the breeze fl...ow through your hair and breathed in the sweet smells of nature? With every glance you notice the fresh tire tracks beating down the tall blades of grass, broken branches on a nearby charred tree, and off in the distance there was ivy taking over an abandoned house. You close your eyes and take in the sound of water flowing through the creek bed, grass dancing with the wind, and birds singing their morning songs And you whisper, How beautiful! Just like this scene from above, our own stories can portray beauty and yet brokenness, being beat down and yet dancing anyways, being overtaken but still able to stand tall. Yes how beautiful and unique each of us are, and what lies within the pages of our stories are meant to be told, for within the lines of every page lies the key to unlock prison doors. We want to invite girl’s and women ages 13 and up to join us Saturday March 12, 2022 where we will hear Her Story. This one day conference will include refreshments and Lunch for all that attend. In today’s world, many of us are told we are alone, that we don’t have anywhere to turn, and we have no way out. Her Story will show you are not alone, there is hope and there is a light in the darkness. We have 7 beautiful speakers that will simply be telling you stories of love, hope, and freedom and The One who provides it all.
