Hi everyone! We have gotten a lot of questions lately, so let's just run a quick FAQ. Q: Are you open? Are you taking appointments?... Yes! Our operating hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 am- 6:00 pm. We work by appointment only and drop off is 7:30 am - 10:00 am. Please note, if you cannot be here by 10am, we will have to reschedule you. If you leave a voice-mail during our off hours, we will get back to you ASAP. Q: Do I bring my dog/cat inside? No. We are asking all of our clients to please wait in their cars. With the uptick in COVID-19 cases, we are doing everything we can to keep ourselves, our families and our clients safe. Also, please don't knock on the door. Knocking creates chaos in the salon and if we are working on a dog, someone could accidentally get hurt. We can see you through the windows and we will be with you shortly. If someone isn't with you momentarily, please give us a call! We may have just missed you pull up. When picking up, please call us and let us know you're here and we will come to you! Q: Do you groom cats? Yes! Heather is our resident cat groomer. She has been grooming cats for 5 years and focuses on low stress grooming. Because cats can be more difficult to groom, she only takes a certain amount a day, depending on the days work load. All cats are required to be current on their rabies vaccination. If you are new, please bring documentation showing your cat is current on their vaccine. Q: How soon can I get in? Because of the pandemic, we are only taking a certain amount of clients a day. We can also only do so many large dogs in a day. We are currently booking 3-7 days in advance. Q: When can I pick up my pet? During drop off, we will tell you we will call as soon as your pet is ready. As everyone drops off in the same time block, we work on pets in order and always call as soon as they're ready to go. If you need to pick them up at a certain time, please tell us and we will do our best to work with you. With us having to come to cars for drop-off and pick-up and our larger than normal call volume, this adds to our day and could mean a longer wait time. Please be patient with us and know that we are making sure your pet is comfortable and relaxed during their stay here. Q: How do we pay? We still accept cash, check or debit/credit card. The only card we don't accept is American Express. If you feel more comfortable paying over the phone, we can accommodate that for you! Q: Do you accept tips? Yes, yes and yes! We always appreciate tips from our clients. If you're tipping using your card, please let us know before we run it so we can add it to your total. Thank you to all our clients, new and returning!

Zima is a flame point Siamese male who is front declawed. His estimated birthdate is 5/12/13 and he came into StreetCats with Zella who he has lived with since he was about 8 weeks old. His former owner who gave them up because she has a one-year old son and the cats were very scared around him, doesn’t think they need to be adopted together, but they do hang out together in StreetCats. Per his former owner he loves to be petted but is not a lap cat. She said... he is independent and sweet but should not be adopted to a home with children or dogs. He is friendly in StreetCats and prefers to be petted on his head and neck. He is not friendly towards other cats he doesn’t know in StreetCats but is great with his sister. He used to love being up high on a cat tree and in StreetCats he is hanging out on our ‘fridge or on top of cages. All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations plus a dental cleaning. All kitties have Home Again microchips implanted and are registered at no charge to the owner. Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65; If adopting two cats - $135; If 65 years or older adopting two cats - $125. StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Blackie is a black male that looks like a Panther. His estimated birthdate is 8/14/2014. He did have a dental cleaning prior to coming into StreetCats. He lived a rough life prior to being rescued by a lady who had other cats which he got along with, but she felt he deserved to have his own home after he recovered from a bad situation. Initially he is shy but once he trusts you, he is sweet, loving, and non-aggressive. In StreetCats now he hangs out in a hidey hole until... you walk into the room or call him by name and then he is right there to say hi. He loves small toys to play with and he loves to be petted and brushed. He can be aa lap cat or will sit next to you. He is sweetheart and needs a wonderful loving and safe home for the rest of his life. All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. Yeller is a red tabby and his estimated birthdate is 6/28/2014. He weighs about 13 lbs. and he enjoys a little canned food both a.m. and p.m. in StreetCats. He is up to date on his vaccinations and he also had a dental cleaning before he came into the adoption center on 2/10/2020. He’s had some ear issues but he’s being treated and he feels a lot better. He loves to be out and about and playing up and down the hall and he loves to be petted. His former person said he doe...sn’t like to be picked up and carried around but a lot of cats are nervous to be too high off the ground where they feel safe. He’s going to be a very special boy for a lucky adopter. All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.
