It’s that time of year again. I’m pretty sure we took about 200 weather related calls today & it’s just getting started. If you think you have damage don’t let just anyone knocking on doors off the street get up on your roof. We would be happy to put you in touch with a trustworthy roofing professional that will put hail resistant shingles on your house. These shingles will save you a TON! Average annual savings on your homeowners insurance is between $700-1,200!!! Most roofers will not tell you about them because they want the repeat business next time there’s a storm. If you don’t have a good agent to look out for you please give us a call. We would love to help. 405-455-7707

Please bring your pets inside. Just spotted off of Sooner Rd. This is getting out of control!

They are saying this could be as bad as the 2009 blizzard. Prepare yourselves! Here are a few safety tips to help protect your family & your home: Be prepared in case we lose power. A back up generator is great if you have access to one. Keep space heaters away from flammable materials like: curtains, blankets & furniture. Never leave them unattended! As an insurance agent I have seen more house fires caused by space heaters than anything else. ... Prevent frozen pipes by turning on your faucets to allow a small continuous drip Leave your cabinets under your sink open to keep your pipes warm. Now is not a good time to save money by cutting off the heat while you’re away. Frozen pipes can cause serious damage to your home. Keep outside stairs and walkways free of ice with salt. Heavy accumulations of snow & ice can lead to water damage and even cause your roof to collapse. If build up occurs, the safest option is to hire a snow removal contractor. If you do the work yourself, use a specially designed roof rake to gently pull snow off the roof. Be safe out there on the roads & stay warm!
