Bill Nicewander 1954 - 2021 Bill Nicewander grew up in Perry, Oklahoma before moving to Oklahoma City, where he became a small business owner for many years before ending his professional career among many friends on the MET team at Home Depot. He enjoyed being outdoors, campouts with his WAHM group, woodworking and spending time with his family.... Bill is survived by his mother, Dixie Nicewander, sister Earlene Glass, brother-in-law Cecil Loveless, wife, Melissa Lehmann, daughter Nicole Broussard and son-in-law Waylon Broussard, son Rex Nicewander and daughter-in-law Ruthie Nicewander, daughter Regan Nicewander, stepchildren Samantha and Casey Coppedge, grandchildren Mason and Layden Broussard, Naomi and Liam Nicewander, nephews Mike Rice and Cecil Loveless, and nieces Dixie Vane, Jaymi Fuentes, Deanna Robertson and Joanne Kindschi. He was proceeded in death by his father, Earl Nicewander, his sister Joyce Loveless, and his father-in-law Elroy Lehmann. Bill’s family would like to say a special thank you to his NASA Sunday school class, the WAHM group, and many more relatives and friends for their support and help. See more

Farm Bureau members visit north central Oklahoma during organization’s ag tour During a three-day tour, 50 Oklahoma Farm Bureau members explored the north central part of the state during the 2021 OKFB Ag Tour May 5-7. Members learned more about production agriculture in the north central region of the state by visiting a Red Rock-based seed and agriculture chemical company, a third-generation pecan orchard, Pfeiffer Farms, a show goat operation in Orlando; and a contract gro...wer of bedding plants, vegetables and groundcovers in Guthrie. Visitors also toured several of the area’s manufacturing facilities including a manufacturer of steel truck beds and storm shelters; the Ditch Witch Museum, commemorating the accomplishments of Ditch Witch and original machinery; and Larry’s Machine Shop, a shop specializing in gun drilling, hole boring and repairs. PMH Foundation Board hosts successful fundraiser The Perry Memorial Hospital Foundation recently hosted a fundraiser to raise funds to purchase equipment needed for outpatient services. Thanks to the generosity of First Bank & Trust, Exchange Bank and Ditch Witch, the Foundation was able to offer two popular prizes including a 22 Personal Pace Auto-Drive Electric Start Toro Self-Propelled Push Mower and a Series 5 Apple Watch with GPS and Cellular capabilities. The winne...r of the Toro Mower donated by Ditch Witch was Lyndee Strader. The proud new owner of the Apple Watch purchased by First Bank & Trust and Exchange Bank is Ashtyn Lumbers.
