FEMA is accepting applications for Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grants (SAFER) through February 4. Developed in cooperation with the IAFF, these grants provide funding directly to fire departments to help them increase or maintain the number of trained, front line firefighters available in their communities.
