What to do with your egg shells instead of tossing them out or waiting for them to breakdown in your compost pile over the next 1-2 years. Make them ready to use by your tomatoes and other calcium loving plants within an hour!
The garden is starting to look yummy! We've got, cherries, grapes, tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini squash, red potatoes, yukon gold potatoes, sweet corn, okra, jalapenos, banana peppers, green beans, wax beans, sweet red onions, sweet basil, rosemary, red bell peppers and radishes starting to set fruit!
It's starting to look a lot like Spring around the Garden... Look for us this year at the Piedmont Farmers Market, located at Owen's Roofing on Monroe Ave. Saturday mornings. This year we are growing OKRA, POTATOES, TOMATOES,GREEN BEANS, YELLOW SQUASH, ZUCCHINI SQUASH, RADISHES, HERBS, ONIONS, CARROTS... just to name a few. All naturally grown without any pesticides or chemicals, just good old fashioned veggies the way God made them.
EGGS, EGGS, EGGS... My girls are happy and healthy and apparently egg machines! I currently have 6 dozen eggs that need to be enjoyed by your family. My hens run around the yard eating up all the bugs and seeds and such along with fresh water and non-GMO feed daily. Their eggs are far better than the ones you get from the store. I have them while they last at $3.00 per dozen... message me here and let me know if you would like a dozen or two. First come first serve!
