It may be summer but PHS students, coaches, and teachers are still working hard! Cheer Squad just completed a successful camp, football spring practice and team camps, basketball summer leagues, softball preparing for upcoming season, baseball little kids camp and more! Academic work continues as well. Many of our students are participating in our Summer Extensions Program. Students are currently working online on ACT Prep courses. Our in person Summer option begins June 7th and offers something for every student. Please click on link for more info: https://www.smore.com/7509z

We recently had the honor of celebrating the retirement of two veteran PHS staff members: Geneva Oswalt and Karlyn Bebout. Geneva and Karlyn had 50 years of combined service to the district and we are thankful for their years of work on behalf of kids and the community. Both Geneva and Karlyn went beyond the call of duty this year to cover classes during staff shortages due to covid. Their sacrifices allowed us to remain open on several occasions this year. We wish them a happy and well-deserved retirement. art credit: Jon Corea, PHS Art Teacher
