QuestionMark Photography

Long story short: 2020 has cut my photography business off at the knees. Having put in 5 1/2 months of work-from-home (mid-March through August), I am returning... to work-from-home for a bit in addition to following other precautions This means I am likely out of the portraiture business until sometime in 2021. The mental battles regarding where to go from here have been painful. Today, I'm changing that. I want to share this competition entry created with the amazing Julia Wagner. This is from the most recent portrait session...in February 2020. Everything about this (and many other images we created) reminds me why I cannot give up. I love everything about this image, including the details that tell me I can do better. There are photos yet to take. I can't stop now.

It's been a while, but I'm still here, buckled down with work-from-home orders. Continuing to exercise caution, I do not yet have a timeline for when I can return to photographic creations with people. It just doesn't make sense for me given my specific situation. I REALLY want to get back to it, but now is not the time. Your continued support is appreciated. I am more than happy to discuss plans for shoots in the future. Keeping it simple...

An ongoing, slowly growing project, this "Watercolors" image is one result of working with Veronika LaVery. It is a reminder that I need to work more on this particular effort.
