Just new boot and mantle goofin

Another project done here at Rainey Wood Designs. This beautiful mantle was made from antique heart pine first sourced to be a homes foundational support beam 100 years ago. It’s been given new life for a local beggs customer!

Forgotten left behind to rot, but we save and repurpose to be bought!

Finally this crib is complete, we were commissioned to make this, and bring to life what the mom to be had in mind and it was so challenging, yet fun and probably our most rewarding project to date, Jake fully designed and built this from his own vision of the crib, he truly made it simple and quick to take a part and change heights so it wouldn’t be a hassle for them in the future, he carefully picked all the wood for this project and put it all together beautifully. Amy did... hours upon hours of sanding to get the entire crib totally baby smooth and soft. Our customers wanted something light and natural looking, so we finished the product with our favorite wood polish from Mish Mash in Beggs, OK. All the lumber used to build this set was locally sourced from old buildings/homes in Beggs, OK. This old wood has been given a new life, when it would have been destroyed otherwise. We are thankful to have been given the opportunity to build this crib set and hope to build lots more custom furniture in the future, so message us, let us know you’re vision and how we can bring it to life. One of our favorite signs to make so far, the backer is made of 90 year old shiplap from a ranch house in Beggs, OK. So excited to see it in its new home at Eva’s Little Flower Shop - ELFS every time we come by! This is about 36in X 36in.
