Ravens Speed Shop

Another one we did since the last post. All original 6cyl C4 ranchero. We swapped in a 9 rearend, 351w/C4, cut all the old suspension and steering out, installed rack and pinion, tubular upper and lower control arms, disc brakes, a/c and few other niceties to bring it up to a more modern day daily driver. Sorry I am bad about taking pics and keeping all this updated. The car turned out really nice, but I failed to get pictures of the finished product.

Hey folks, haven’t kept up real good on what we’ve been working on for a while now. Here’s a little 67 C10 we did an LT/6spd swap on, added a/c , completely rewired front to back, new dakota digital gauges, lowered a couple inches and built a custom air intake and cold air filter box.

For all the guys and gals asking what crossmember to buy for the LT and LS swaps with 6 or 8 speeds and don’t believe me when I say we use the stock one.. Here ...ya go. Notice the oil pan and trans pan are above the crossmember and frame rails as well. This particular truck has 2 1/2 exhaust, but we’ve done 3 as well with plenty of room. See more

Well, 1 1/2 years later, between Curtis Hutton at Hutton’s Paint and Body and Ravens Speed Shop, we have a rotisserie paint job and every single nut and bolt restoration on this beautiful 79 C10. We are waiting on a steering wheel, brake pedal pad, alignment and a final clean up overall, and then it will make its way back to its proud owner!! We used a tbi engine and added Vintage AC, dakota digital gauges and a few other little things to it, but otherwise she’s pretty much like GM sent her out 41 years ago.
