Share Share Share Sable Marie Sorry for not updating the last couple days. I was unable to go personally and visit, but I had called the last couple days and left messages but I found out they are down to one vet and a couple of techs, so they were extremely busy. Tonight I was updated by VT Jenna that they took her off IV fluids yesterday and she's keeping down 1 cup at breakfast and at dinner. She drinks water but vomits it back up. Today was rough with vomit and diarrhea, ...and lethargy. They said she's taking two steps forward and one back but that's still progress. She is still wagging her tail and giving kisses and getting lots of rest. Her hospital stay was supposed to be over last Friday but she just wasn't ready. Then I thought Monday... well now it's hopefully going to be this coming Monday! 14 days in the hospital is too long for anyone, but it's a better foundation for her to start healing at home. If you can donate and haven't yet please do. Although her hospitalization is almost over, her recovery, special foods and medications will continue. This girl has touched the hearts of so many of you guys. Thank you from the bottom of our wiggle butted hearts. Your Prayers, thoughts, and encouragements are helping. The update on Sable Marie There's no bad news but no improvements :( Shes still getting two bags of liquid cocktail but she's still lethargic and resting a lot. She is keeping more and more food down. I'm super sad that I wasn't able to report a full recovery.
