So, let’s talk. I’ve been asked many times about what happened within the last couple months and I feel it’s time to share something I’ve kept private. Very few people are able to capture a defining moment of their life in a photo, but I was lucky enough to get this picture and meet one of the most talented barbers in the industry who I have been inspired by for quite some time, Sofie Pok. As many of you know, I had become stuck in my career by following a path of what I tho...ught was the natural progression of a career, management. Stress levels were off the chart, I treated my friends and family like complete shit, ran myself into the ground with multiple anxiety attacks, and I cried in my car more than I care to admit. I was terrified to abandon a safety net and plant my feet into the unknown because of the chance of failure. Funny thing is, when you’re hungry enough for a life you want failure doesn’t exist, its replaced by growth. In the one second it took to take this picture something clicked, I am NOT a hairstylist; I’m a barber. To see another woman dominating a primarily male industry and doing it on her own terms with incredible skill was quite literally life changing (shhhh it’s not cheesy). So, here we are. I left my job after 7 years which was the scariest thing I’ve ever done, rediscovered my passion for barbering, created my space for all of my outstanding clients, and started to really grow in my craft and personal life. I’m happy you guys, actually happy. Who knows what the future holds, but damnit I’m excited for this journey. Let’s get iiiiiit See more

Sometimes God decides to give you something he knew you needed. Hank Crutchfield and I will be welcoming our little surprise late October or early November and Elijah is going to be the most amazing big brother Get ready to welcome Baby Crutchfield!
