Another inhouse RTS weld in under the bed floor bridge notch completed. This one was a little more challenging as it had been previously notched with a bolt in plate & the frame was bent. It took a little more work to get it back to straight before we could start our process. We will get the bed reinstalled tomorrow & it will be heading back home.

For the love of God, please dont let anyone near your springs with a torch. It's bad enough seeing coil springs heated to lower something, but heating leaf springs is an absolute No No. Spring steel will break & when a leaf spring goes it's not going to be a good ride. While were looking at things, now is a hood time to mention the common problem of the leaf spring U- bolts rotting away. The axel cup is know to get full of debris & hold moisture that will rot your U- bolts... away as these are in the pictures. This is another thing that will make for a bad situation if the break. We will not reuse U- bolts under 99% of circumstances. Ony time we have reused is if we just installed them & customer is changing up the build. It is highly recommended to always replace them if there being removed as they do stretch & will weaken. Use common sense when working on your trucks & always ask for references of a shops work before you turn them loose on your project. This truck was lowered this way at an actual shop. See more

New project that just arrived. An unfortunate situation of a frame that was damaged during the installation of a generic internet frame notch. We will be squaring & leveling this frame back to where it belongs then installing one of our inhouse fabricated under the bed custom weld in frame notch.

The shop is buzzing with cool projects & not enough hours in the day. Current projects are all running a little behind schedule. Lots of parts shortages & shipping delays are not helping the situation. We have a lot of new customers popping in to purchase parts or get consults on future projects. Anyone who knows me, knows I hate getting behind on my schedules. We want our customers to have a great experience, but at no point do we cut corners to speed up the project. We ha...ve built a reputation for doing quality work & get new project requests daily. Unfortunately there are not enough hours in the day to do them all. We have come a long way in a short time & appreciate all the buisness & great customers. Please be patient if your on the waiting list. We will get to you & we will do everything we can to exceed your expectations. Living that dream. Pic of the shop the day we got it.
