Today, my little man had bloodwork done to test for covid-19 antibodies. He tolerated it like a champ, and I am so beyond thrilled to announce that he has covid-19 antibodies because I chose to vaccinate while pregnant. What a privilege it is to be a part of the science that is turning the tide of this pandemic!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of my beautiful patients out there. This morning I am reflecting on all of the deliveries I have been privileged to be a part of. There is something so special about watching a woman become a mama, whether it’s for the first time or again. I am also thinking about all of the patients I have cried with - the women who are grieving today. I see you and my heart hurts with you today. I know today is a hard reminder of how unfair life can be sometimes.... I am thinking of you all today and my prayers are with you. Photo by Propel Women

Dear friends, I am so so sad to announce to you all that this is Leslie’s last week at the clinic. Leslie has been a wonderful medical assistant and an even better friend. She will be sorely missed - and I am personally so sad about not getting to see her daily anymore!! One of my favorite things about Leslie is her compassion and kindness. She loves our patients deeply and has striven to connect to every single one of our patients.
