Rothwell Dentistry 17.06.2021

As we are continuing to see a rise in our state of COVID-19 cases, our dental team is constantly on the defense to ensure your comfort & safety while at our office. We have had two (2) in-office treatments for prophylactic measures from Virus Control to create and atmosphere of confidence, where every surface is tirelessly cleaned and disinfected by professionals in the coronavirus field. Thank you, Virus Control, for your expertise and attention to detail as we continue to fight this pandemic. Give our office a call if you’re in need of comprehensive dental care in a comfortable, safe environment. Call and speak with Janet at (405) 728-7632 and she will help to get you an appointment!

We're happy to announce that Timothy Rothwell DDS will be reopening to treat all our patients on May 4th, 2020. Thank you so much for your support during this difficult time. Please note that as a result of COVID-19, we have updated some of our daily procedures. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We will be following the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Pr...evention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued for the safety of our patients and staff. You'll still receive the same great service from our dedicated team, however to ensure the safety of all our patients we've implemented the following changes: 1) patient and/or their parent/guardian will "check-in" from their car upon arrival to our office 2) patient and/or their parent/guardian will wait in the car until the office calls the patient into the office (if patient is a minor, they can be escorted to the office door by the parent/guardian) 3) only the patient being treated is to be allowed in the office (reception area and/or operatory) IN MOST CASES, unless being accompanied by their parent/guardian or if the patient needs assistance getting in/out of the office due to a disability 4) the temperature of the patient will be taken and a thorough screening form will be reviewed prior to treatment We will also have multiple hand sanitizers throughout the office for your convenience. Please feel free to wear your own protective wear (mask, gloves, etc...) upon your arrival if it will make you more comfortable. Again, your safety is our top concern as we navigate through this time...our dental team is highly trained and have been working hard to ensure your protection. Thank you so much for your support. We're happy to continue serving you, and can't wait to see your smile! Sincerely, Your dental family at Timothy Rothwell DDS

On Tuesday, March 24th, Governor Kevin Stitt issued a "stay at home" order requiring all "vulnerable populations" to stay at home until April 30th, except for essential travel such as trips to the grocery store or pharmacy. Specific details of who is included in the vulnerable population were not immediately provided, but that category generally includes those who are elderly and those who have underlying health problems (heart, respiratory, etc...). The governor also issue...d an executive order restricting any gathering of 10 or more people all across our great state. In an effort to preserve medical supplies (PPE), Governor Stitt then ordered a 14-day suspension of all nonemergency dental procedures, among other medical restrictions. As we have previously stated, our main goal at Timothy Rothwell DDS has always been to protect the health of our patients, our team, and our community. In light of this new information handed down from our governor regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we're closing our office for all ELECTIVE dental treatment until April 8th. We will contact you again if this date potentially changes. Here are some more details you should know: -If you have a dental emergency, please contact Dr Rothwell at (405) 620-7624 and we'll take care of you. This includes if you're in pain, have a broken tooth, or think you may have an abscess -We will be reaching out to each of you individually to reschedule any appointments you may have between now and April 8th -If you have an Invisalign appointment scheduled during this time, please call Dr Rothwell to potentially arrange a way to get your next set of trays in order to not create any disruptions in your progress; otherwise, simply continue to wear your last set of trays until we can accomodate you We continue to wish you all good health. Please know that we will get through this together! Be safe, The team at Timothy Rothwell DDS
