After a construction dispute on a new home build, Rocky reached out to Richardson Richardson Boudreaux Law Firm for legal assistance because of Chuck and Gary's outstanding reputation in the legal field. Chuck and Gary put in the work, exceeding Rocky's expectations and getting him the settlement he deserved. Thank you Rocky for coming to RRB first.

Oklahoman’s like many in the southwest have been hit by a winter storm that is causing extreme difficulty for travel. While the safest strategy is to remain off the streets until the storm passes, this is obviously not the best strategy for everyone. If you or a loved one needs to be on the streets, it is important to leave home prepared. The following are recommendations: 1. Dress warm and take a blanket in case you are stranded; 2. Charge phone; 3. Let someone know wh...ere you will be going and the route to be taken; 4. Drive under control not necessarily the speed limit; 5. Remain on main streets that have been traveled and clear; 6. Remain a safe distance behind the car ahead; 7. Slow before entering tunnels or going over overpasses; 8. Start gently braking prior to approaching an intersection; 9. If stranded on the street, exit vehicle only after checking for vehicles in the area; Here are a few suggestions for traveling in these bad conditions. Should you become involved in an accident, contact the police. Slick Streets may be in place. If so, get a picture of the drivers’ license, insurance card, and damage to vehicles. If injured, seek immediate medical care. You may receive a call from the insurance carrier of the person that caused the accident. This person is an insurance adjuster that represents an insurance company and the main purpose of the call is to obtain information that may assist in reducing any payment to you. The adjusters are trained to ask specific questions in a manner that gets information in the best form for the insurance company. Additionally, the adjuster may want to take a recorded statement. The adjusters are professionals at manipulating questions to get information that best assists in either not paying the claim, or reducing the value of the claim. It is recommended that you only provide your name and contact information and nothing else. After seeking medical attention it is strongly recommended that you immediately contact an attorney to discuss your rights and options. Remember, the insurance adjuster is not attempting to maximize your recovery but save the company as much money as possible. Be safe, protect yourself, and before making important decisions speak with an attorney.

If faced with a power outage during a winter ice storm, consider the following: * Make sure the outage goes beyond your home. If lines are down or damaged, stay back and call your electric company. * Stay warm, dress in layers, and use extra blankets.... * Avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. Do not use gas generators to heat your home, which includes camping stoves or barbeques. * Unplug appliances and electronics to avoid a surge when the power does come back on. * If you have electric heat, keep all taps on a slow drip to prevent pipes from freezing and bursting. * Listen to the news on a battery-powered device, and save 911 for emergencies. Please stay safe and warm.
