River Trail Relay

RTRers.... Registration is Live!!!!! Here are the details for this year. June 30th, 7am... The event consists of 3 legs 14 Mile Bike 5k Run 5k Run Cost is 35.00 per leg. You will not be able to do the bike and run legs, but if you want to do both run legs that is fine. We will begin with a time trial start of the bikes at 7am. Bikes will be done no later than 730am. Bike Route https://www.strava.com/routes/16000543 As soon as the bikes are done we will do a shotgun start of the 5k. Run Route https://www.strava.com/routes/16788841 Once you complete your 5k, you will go to your team corral and tag your partner. Your partner will then begin thier 5k run. If you are doing both 5ks you will need to go to your corral, change timing chips, and then do the second 5k. The race will be professionally timed and prizes will be awarded for multiple categories based on times. When you regsiter you will be asked for your team name, if you have one. Make sure all your team members enter the same team name. If you dont have a team and you wnat us to find you one, or if you just want to participate in the 5k or bike without a team that is fine with us. Directions for how to register in those scenarios are on the registration site. Your entry will include the race leg, food, beverage of your choice, and door prize ticket. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Oklahoma City Riverfront Redevelopment Authority, Southmoore High School Band, and OKCX Cycling. RTRers.... We know you are all anxious to get signed up. Due to the new alcoholic beverage laws recently enacted, we have to do some things a little different this year. As soon as we figure out the best way to do what we want to do, we will open up registration. Sorry for the delay, we will get this done as quickly as we can.

We would like to annouce that the run portion of the RTR will again be sponsored by Red Coyote Running and Fitness. They have done an amazing job for us the last two years with manning our waterstop, providing a great deal of gift cards and prizes for our raffle, and hosting packet pickup. Looking forward to seeing what they have in mind for us this year.

RTRers..... The 2019 RTR is set for June 30th, 7am-10am Our event this year is a 14 mile bike and two 5k runs so you still need a 3 person team. ... We will begin with the cyclists this year, Time Trial start format as has been done in the past. Once all cyclists have left, we will have a shotgun start of the run. Courses are below. These course are tentative as they have not been finlized by the City, but we do not anticipate any major changes. We will open registration around March/April.
