Crooked Oak Band

CO Band parents this post is for you! I sent a paper home with your students about instrument check out (In Person only!) this weekend. Please make sure that they show it to you and that you understand it and sign it! Do not fill out the top part where it talks about serial numbers because we will fill that out when we check out instruments! THIS PAPER IS DUE TOMORROW (Monday 10/5). Big news! I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I am Mr. Johns, the new Band Director at Crooked Oak! I just graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Music Education. I was in many different ensembles during my time there, including the Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band, Symphony Band, Trombone Choir, and the Jazz Bands. This is my first year teaching and I am very excited to get started with everyone on the 19th! I have done a lot of stuff to get the band room ready for school the past few days, and I still have a lot to do!
