We are excited to see everyone back at Cattlemen's Congress in OKC in 2022!

We have many new faces on our feed so we thought it’d be a good time to introduce ourselves on the page. We are Zack and Karly Rupp, co-owners of Rupp Ranch. Together with the help of our families, we have been growing a Gelbvieh and Balancer seed stock operation that we are very proud of and are excited for the future here at Rupp Ranch. Zack grew up here in Perry, OK - raising and showing Gelbvieh from a young age. Karly is from Perry as well and comes from a commercial ...operation where she started building a herd consisting of many former show heifers across multiple breeds. We met in 2012 at the local feed store that Zack now manages today. We bonded through our love of cattle and the rest is history - we were married May 4, 2019. At first, Karly knew nothing about Gelbvieh cattle but she soon fell in love with the versatility and longevity of the breed. Once it was time to build our operation, it was no question that we wanted to focus on providing our customers with the highest quality Gelbvieh and Balancer genetics we could find. Zack’s favorite place is out in the pasture checking out the cows and calves - he’s also our livestock nutrition aficionado around here. Karly is at her happiest in the show barn working with the show cattle. We brainstorm matings together and enjoy the a-ha moment when we just know that one will make a good one. Our favorite things when we’re not working with cattle are our dogs, Cinch and Nash, and watching Oklahoma State sports (GO POKES!). We currently market our bulls every spring private treaty while offering a wide array of females year round. We also have a small number of Red Angus, Angus and Charolais cattle you will also see featured on our page from time to time. Thank you to the customers and partners we’ve had so far over the years. The best part about the livestock industry is the people and we can’t say enough about the people we’ve met through this operation. It’s always great seeing the show heifers we raise succeed in the show ring, but it is even better to see them succeed out in the pasture. We are excited to see the progeny RUPP Golden Girl 902G raises for the McClure family at Plus One Cattle Company.
