S.Potts Custom Knives

I had a little time tonight to get it hand sanded to 400g...400 grit makes fore a nice finish with a brushed looking finish on the bolster. However i will hand sand this one to 1000 grit then a few stages of buffing compound. Then a few cots of boiled linseed oil.

This is the walnut brother to the Mesquite knife. This is the sneak peak its only just started at 220g a long way yet to go. This walnut has nice grain too its just so dark its hard to see hopefully it will pop somewhere along the finishing process.

That Mesquite is looking awesome, this is just sanded at 220g i have a long way to go yet.

This is where it gets tricky...lining up 11 pins and getting them installed before epoxy starts to set and without cracking the wood
