An artist I follow is always posting what she calls "joy interruptions". This could be a sunset, a bouquet of flowers, anything that makes you stop and smile and remember that life is good. What joy interruptions have you had this week?

I remember my middle school teacher teaching us what it meant to be a details person. She showed us a basketball and said that people who didn't pay attention to details would see the whole ball. But detail oriented people focuses on the texture of the basketball. From then on, I knew I wanted to look for the details.

Out of the office!! I'm kicking off the weekend early with our annual family reunion. And I've got twice the time to make up for last year's cancellation. Be back on Monday!
