I’m on puppy overload this morning We brought a new Pomeranian into the family, and she’s settling in just fine Everything’s mini around here

We had a rough day yesterday. Our momma cat that had two week old kittens was hit out on the highway I spent the majority of the morning trying to find another momma cat to take them. One failed attempt later, I was scrambling for milk replacement and teaching my 10 year old daughter how to feed them so I could get back to work. 4 feedings later and we found another momma we could try, and it worked! She was actually giving birth and she took them no questions asked. Thank you Lord for small miracles

I can’t tell if Ethel is giving me a go to you know where look or not I’m noticing both my donk girls getting a little too hippy (we’re not the only ones affected by the quarantine 15 ), so grazing muzzles it is. Sidenote: I wonder if they make these for humans Anyhoo~ see that fatty area along her crest on her neck? Not ideal. So we get to go on a donkey diet! I started this farm not knowing just a whole lot, honestly. But I’ve read, researched, and haven’t been afr...aid to ask questions. I know I sound like a complete fool most of the time, but how else are we supposed to learn? Sometimes, we have to take pride out of the equation. Really, we should all of the time. My hope is that Ethel may encourage you to put your pride in your back pocket occasionally. I think you’ll learn that it’s incredibly freeing I mean, if she can walk around like this... Oh Lucy Since becoming a momma, she has really settled in to her own being. She’s become more confident, more loving, and more acceptant of affection from her humans. Ethel has always been the more dominant of the two, but Lucy is finally standing her ground, with a little one to protect. She is a fierce momma, and I’m reminded that we aren’t really that different from other species in that regard. She may be young, but she has proven her place on the farm

We’ve been working on manners, and let me just tell you, he is a perfect gentleman It’s been a dream to have a mini like him to take to kids parties or schools, even hospitals and nursing homes. Seeing kids faces light up and the excitement they show is something else to experience And honestly, the adults get giddy too I’ve found and it makes my heart just as full. As...k and you shall receive!
