Biochemistry Senior Sergio Mares has had an extensive career in research as an undergraduate student at OSU. Not only is he a Wentz Research Scholar, but also a McNair Scholar and OK-LSAMP Scholar, and has had two research articles published. He has completed two REUs over two summers, and is headed to the University of California Berkeley for a fully-funded PhD program in Computational Biology this fall!
