The donations I will be accepting will go to the victims in Carney, OK. I have a friend who lives in Carney and another friend who has a brother-in-law that pastors the Baptist Church there. Here is what my friend said about Carney, OK "...Yes, my sister's husband pastors the baptist church there and they are offering shelter to victims at their church. Carney is a small town and they lost about 30 homes. I imagine they will struggle to get as much help as they need due to the devastation at Shawnee and Moore. Mark and Trena Davis are their names..." My other friend said this "Thank you so much! Im at Walmart now buying socks and toys for the kids. Yes, take them to the fire dept in Carney. Its in the middle of town on HWY 177. You can't miss it. Thank you again so much. Small towns don't get as much help when there are bigger towns affected also. Carney still needs as much help as they can get. Its not a wealthy community in the first place. Its so sad! Im getting stuff for the kids to. The parents said its hard to keep them occupied. " Even small towns need help turning these trying times, I hope you'll find it in your heart to donate...even if it's a Wal-Mart gift card. My heart breaks for all of the Oklahoma families that lost it all and lost loved ones. Thank you for your donation and God Bless!
I will for sure be open by July 1st...just in time for the busy summer months! :) Hope y'all are having a great Spring! :)
