Tonight was the last Spring Creek Stress Reduction Class. It has been my pleasure to offer programs to help reduce daily stress and live better, healthier lives. Very special thanks to all who attended the classes, and to each of my wonderful guest presenters. This has been a rich resource for the community and a deeply meaningful experience for me. Of those who were surveyed, 88% of respondents said that the classes have either reduced or greatly reduced their overall lev...el of stress. 100% said that the presenter is very effective and professional, and 100% reported that they would recommend the class to a friend. We had a great class tonight learning about "Time Management for Stress Reduction." Thanks to everyone who came out and added so much to the conversation. We dug deep and you took away some powerful tools that you've already started putting into action! For those who couldn't make it, here are 10 time management tips to help you take back the clock: 1.) Take a simple inventory of how you are currently using all of your available time.... 2.) Set priorities around your values (want to’s) AND your obligations (should do’s). 3.) Make a daily to-do list based on these priorities. 4.) Schedule your tasks in a calendar or app. 5.) Focus on being effective and not just busy. 6.) Track how you’re using your time throughout the day. 7.) Learn to let go of perfectionism and challenge procrastination. 8.) Consciously limit interruptions and distractions. 9.) Learn to say no to tasks that are not your priority or responsibility. 10.) Practice exceptional self-care and recognize your progress. See more
