Getting close to first cutting.

Planted a new field of alfalfa last fall. It was a very weak stand due to a lack of rainfall after planting. Instead of wrestling a poor crop, we no-tilled oats and sprayed the alfalfa and volunteer wheat to kill it. Putting down liquid fertilizer before the rain. We’ll start back over with alfalfa this fall.
