TODAY, MONDAY MAY 16th, 6:00pm Clark Bohart Community Bldg Meeting with USDA Oklahoma Rural Development Community Program Division representative Shelley Bookout. Her purpose is to meet with community, civic, church, education and business leaders to obtain information on what our needs are in relation to rural housing, community facilities, water/wastewater, rural utilities, and rural business development. This will help determine if there are programs which could help mee...t our community needs and to help bring light to any barriers, if any, which might hinder access to such programs. Please join us for this meeting to help bring new programs and opportunities to our community.

DO YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH YOUR HOME ADDRESS LOCATION BEING FOUND BY DELIVERY SERVICES OR ON MAPPING SITES?? With many complaints about addresses in town not registering with GPS mapping systems and delivery services like Fed-Ex not being able to find homes, we made a call to the Caddo County 911 Director for some help. Without giving the long storyhere is what you can do to try & correct the situation. Go to usps.com... Click Quick Tools on top bar Click Look up a Zip Code Click Find by Address Type in your address, city, state & zip code ( no need to put your name) Click Find If your address shows up, then it is in the USPS database & there shouldn’t be trouble for anyone to find your place. If your address does NOT show up, call Debbie Davis Caddo County 911 Director at 405-247-8845 Report to her the address which needs to be added to the database & she will do so. It takes a few weeks for the database to be updated but once it is, all should be good. Hope this helps but if it doesn’t, let us know & we will keep digging for ways to get it straightened out.

The large dumpster at the park will be open from 8am -12pm Saturday the 12th. It is located between the Town Barn & railroad tracks.

Do you have house numbers clearly visible on the outside of your home?? If not, the Town has some for you...please call Town Hall at 580-588-3505 and we will arrange to get them to you or have you pick them up. Having clearly visible numbers is a tremendous help for Emergency Responders, our Waterworks Employees, and for delivery services such as Fed-Ex and UPS. Please help us help you!

UPDATE 6/4/21..Dumpster is full but another will be delivered Wednesday. Hours for the dumpster are : Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm Saturday 8am - 12pm (if not full) ... Large Dumpsters will be available at the Apache Park beginning Thursday June 3rd through the end of the month. Please respect the use of these dumpsters and only deposit large items that can not be left for regular trash pick up.
