According to the U.S. Flag Code, The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning. Today two of my kids along with several others helped pay respect to for American flags that have served as a symbol for our country symbol of our freedom and we're ready for retirement. It was hot they didn't have any shade but they didn't complain or grumble but stood reverent and silent while they cut and burned each stripe and the field of stars. What a perfect way to honor flag day.

This is a great event that brings together other Christians with a passion for the outdoors, like us. I strongly recommend going, it’s a good time for the adults and the kids.
