The Women's Health Group 13.07.2021

As Oklahoma contemplates moving to Phase 3 opening guidelines, The Women's Health Group is "uniquely charged with protecting both the health of those we serve and the health of our caregivers." As an essential part of the front line to stopping the community spread of COVID-19, healthcare facilities should maintain compliance with CDC guidelines regarding limiting visitation to our facility. This includes social distancing. While WHG looks forward to a time when we can al...low visitors to accompany patients to our office, at this time we will be continuing our current policy of no visitors with the patient. Unfortunately, the footprint of our office limits the number of people we can have in our office and comply with social distancing guidelines. As always our first priority is the medical care of our patients. We really understand that our obstetric patients have partners or grandparents that would love to attend prenatal visits. We sincerely hope that time comes soon! WHG is doing our best to protect everyone who comes to our office and everyone that works here. WHG hasn't forgotten our over-65 patients. We are anxious to get updated guidance for our patients who are over the age of 65 and need their well woman exams.

For our patients with appointments: In light of new evidence, the CDC now recommends the use of cloth face coverings in public areas where social distancing is difficult. In order to protect our patients, staff and physicians, if you have an appointment at our office, we ask that you arrive wearing a mask. If you do not have access to a mask, a cloth scarf or bandana may be used to cover your nose and mouth. ... Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in these difficult circumstances.

The Women's Health Group and staff are dedicated to your safety. For that reason, we are limiting office visits to pregnant patients and urgent gynecology needs. We have instituted a telemedicine option through Doxy.me for non-urgent needs and are happy to schedule these visits for patients who are interested. We are currently rescheduling routine annual visits to a later date. We will be happy to extend prescriptions for routine medications if needed. Please call our ...office at (918) 293-6200 with questions or concerns. Our physicians will continue to be available 24 hours a day for emergencies. We ask that you call our office prior to coming in for an appointment if you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath. Thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe!
