At Western Sizzlin & Mackie's, the health and safety of our customers and employees is important to us, especially during this time. Western Sizzlin & Mackie's has always taken pride in delivering delicious food and service in a clean and safe environment for over 30 years.... The health and safety of our customers and employees is always our top priority. We are monitoring the CDC and Local Health Organizations on the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) information as it is released. We will continue to monitor and adjust any policies as needed. Here are some of the steps that we have implemented in addition to our daily standards of cleaning and safety protocols: Educating staff on the precautions that can be taken to minimize the risk and spread of the virus. Increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing in our restaurants. We are focused on the most frequently touched surfaces including but not limited to door handles, menus, cash register area, tables, dining areas, and bathrooms. Reinforce our existing health and food safety protocols with our staff. Including proper and increased hand washing, glove use, and encouraging staff to at home if feeling ill. Replacing cups, bowls, and containers after refills. Providing disposable utensils, straws, and cups upon request. We encourage our customers to avoid public places if feeling ill, and to follow CDC guidelines on preventing the spread of the virus.
