A special thanks to Dillon Cooper for helping Major Vigil teach some tactics at his gym. Yesterday we worked some drills and techniques to utilize in the event someone attempts to take your weapon. How to get control of the situation without using deadly force, but also how to make them take an involuntary nap if the person refuses to comply. Grappling for points in a tournament is stressful and grueling; but grappling and fighting for your life is unforgiving. We look forward to future trainings a couple days a month. Reminder, don’t ever let Vigil get a hold of your arm Gweedo... again, Thank you Dillon Cooper.

Officer Godeaux took time out of his day to play catch during a little league tournament today.

*** TRAINING MEMO*** Today Wewoka Pd is hosting SWAT school day 3 and there will be some vacant houses that officers will be training at. It will be training only, nothing to be alarmed about.

Fire department is on scene of a full engulfed house fire of an abandoned property. The police department has Mekusukey currently closed from 8th to 10th st. for the fire department to run hoses to hydrants. We ask the public to stay clear of the area.

A 9 month investigation with Wewoka Police Dept and other agencies, Operation Wewoka Switchwas a success so far. This is just the beginning as we continue to investigate and look for the other outstanding individuals
