Some good news from the Federal Court!

Our firm is proud to defend the First Amendment.

This week marks 40 years since we opened our law firm, handling contested matters for people in disputes with corporations or the government. Frankly the court ...system seems less accessible to regular citizens than when we began in 1978, largely due to the protection of big business imposed on us by the legislature. We intend to continue trying to provide our fellow citizens a shot at justice, and we thank our many friends who have made the past four decades possible. See more

I went to the Kiowa Tribal headquarters in Carnegie this morning and had the pleasure of swearing in Arvo Q. Mikkanen and Kirk Kickingbird as new Associate Justices of the Kiowa Supreme Court. I have been serving as their District Judge for the past year. With these new appointments the tribe’s hard work to establish an independent judiciary is almost achieved.
